1. Services Overview

Weathershield Construction Services is a licensed and insured Florida contractor (FL License #CGC1509568) specializing in roofing, window installation, siding, storm damage restoration, exterior renovations, and home inspections (wind mitigation and 4-point inspections) throughout the Tampa Bay metropolitan area, including Hillsborough and Pinellas counties.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and a legal resident of the United States to use this Site or engage our services. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3. Estimates & Proposals

All estimates and proposals provided by Weathershield are:

• Valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Subject to change based on material costs, scope adjustments, or unforeseen site conditions discovered during the project.
• Non-binding until a written contract is signed by both parties.
• Based on visible conditions at the time of inspection; hidden damage discovered during work may require a change order.

4. Contracts & Payment

Upon acceptance of a proposal:

• A written contract will be executed outlining the scope of work, materials, timeline, payment schedule, and warranty terms.
• Payment schedules are specified in the contract. Typical terms include a deposit upon signing, progress payments during the project, and final payment upon completion and inspection.
• We accept check, credit card, ACH transfer, and financing through our partner HFS Financial.
• Late payments may be subject to a 1.5% monthly interest charge on outstanding balances after 30 days.
• Work will not commence until the signed contract and initial deposit are received.

5. Change Orders

Any changes to the agreed scope of work must be documented in a written change order signed by both parties before additional work begins. Change orders may affect project cost, timeline, or both. We will communicate any impacts before proceeding.

6. Permits & Code Compliance

Weathershield pulls all required permits for every project in every jurisdiction we serve. All work is performed in accordance with the Florida Building Code and local municipal codes. We schedule and attend all required inspections. Homeowner cooperation may be required for inspector access to the property.

7. Warranties

• Workmanship Warranty: We provide a workmanship warranty on all labor. Duration and terms are specified in your individual contract.
• Manufacturer Warranties: Materials installed carry the manufacturer's warranty. We assist with warranty claims and provide all documentation.
• Exclusions: Warranties do not cover damage caused by acts of God, homeowner modifications, failure to maintain the property, or normal wear and tear.

8. Insurance Claims Assistance

We assist homeowners with insurance claims for storm damage by providing documentation, meeting with adjusters, and advocating for fair claim settlements. However, we are not a public adjuster, attorney, or insurance representative. We do not guarantee insurance claim outcomes. The homeowner remains responsible for their insurance policy obligations, deductibles, and communication with their insurer.

9. Property Access & Safety

By engaging our services, you grant Weathershield and its crew reasonable access to your property to perform the contracted work. We maintain a clean and safe job site at all times. Homeowners are asked to keep children, pets, and personal property away from the work area during active construction. We carry comprehensive liability and workers' compensation insurance to protect both our team and your property.

10. Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel a contract within 3 business days of signing in accordance with Florida's "Cooling Off" rule (Florida Statutes §501.025).
• Cancellations after the 3-day period may be subject to a cancellation fee to cover materials already ordered, permits pulled, and administrative costs.
• If materials have been custom-ordered or cut for your project, those costs are non-refundable.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weathershield Construction Services shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to our services, this Site, or these Terms. Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you under the applicable contract.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, graphics, and design — is the property of Weathershield Construction Services or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from our content without prior written consent.

13. Website Use & Accuracy

However, content is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute a binding offer, professional advice, or guarantee. Project costs, timelines, and material availability are subject to change. Always rely on your written contract for binding terms.

15. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in Hillsborough County, Florida, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Florida law governs these Terms without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weathershield Construction Services, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your engagement of our services.
